About the Project
MARIAN is a three-year Erasmus+ project (2024-2027) dedicated to fostering the social inclusion of children from Refugee, Migrant, and Minority (RMM) backgrounds by providing high-quality, culturally relevant education. The project integrates Montessori principles, Creative Technologies, and a STEAM approach to transform the way Mathematics is taught and learned. By empowering teachers with innovative methodologies and engaging lesson plans, MARIAN aims to make Mathematics more accessible, meaningful, and inclusive, with a particular focus on encouraging girls’ participation in STEAM fields.
Development of innovative, curriculum-aligned lesson plans and assessment tools for primary and lower secondary education.
A small group of teachers will be trained in English to pilot and refine these lesson plans.
These trained educators will train additional teachers in multicultural schools across Spain, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, and Romania, forming a teacher network for continuous support.
